Our very own ambassador, Prof. Philip Lazarovici, promoting Israel and science in Washington
To promote and expose Israel to the American public, the Israel Embassy in Washington is sponsoring a program comprised of various cultural activities. Under the heading of "Health, Science and Technology", Prof. Philip Lazarovici has volunteered to present several lectures regarding the research being carried out in his lab during the last decade. Specifically, the lectures will focus on his contributions to "Therapeutic effects of cord blood stem cells in brain trauma animal model", the "Neuroprotective activities of Rasagiline, an Israeli-developed anti-Parkinson drug" and "Tissue engineering - Where are we?"
In addition, he was mobilized by the supporters of the Hebrew University in Washington to provide similar lectures and meet potential donors in Baltimore! Read more
